Project Description

The BART Silicon Valley (BSV) Phase II Project, the second phase of the Silicon Valley Rapid Transit (SVRT) Program, is a 6-mile, 4-station extension of BART from the Berryessa/North San Jose Transit Center into Downtown San Jose and ending in the City of Santa Clara. The Project includes a 5-mile tunnel, two mid-tunnel ventilation facilities, and the Newhall Yard and Maintenance Facility with storage tracks.
