Project Description

The 10-mile Silicon Valley Berryessa Extension, also known as SVBX, extends the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) System from Warm Springs Station in Fremont to the Cities of Milpitas and Berryessa/North San Jose. This first phase of the Silicon Valley Rapid Transit (SVRT) Program includes two BART stations: Milpitas Station and Berryessa/North San Jose Station, each of which is embedded in a new multimodal transit center. The BSV Phase I Project is the first phase of VTA’s BART Silicon Valley Program.
