Project Description
The South Central Extension Project extends Valley Metro’s Light Rail System 5.5 miles from Downtown Phoenix, looping into the existing Valley Metro Rail System and adding a Downtown Hub that will allow for transfers between Valley Metro lines. The South Central Extension will make South Phoenix’s unique offerings more accessible to residents and visitors, attracting new customers, businesses, and jobs to the area.
