Project Description

The Orange County (OC) Streetcar Project is an FTA-funded, modern Streetcar System that is the first modern rail system to be implemented in Orange County, California. The Project connects the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center and a New Transit Hub at Harbor Boulevard and Westminster Avenue in Garden Grove. The alignment consists of 4.15 miles of new trackway within the Pacific Electric right-of-way and the traffic lanes of Santa Ana Boulevard and Fourth Street. The Project includes ten stations, a maintenance and storage facility (MSF), and new double track bridges located immediately north of the existing Pacific Electric Santa Ana River Bridge and over Westminster Boulevard. Systems work includes signaling, communications, at-grade crossings, overhead contact system, and traction power substations. PGH Wong is providing the full range of Construction Management Services including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction.
