Project Description
Construction Package 1 is the first construction contract being implemented on the Initial Operating Section of the California High-Speed Rail Program. This Initial Operating Section connects Avenue 17 in Madera County, California to south of East American Avenue in Fresno, California. The construction serves as the 29-mile segment of the growing California High-Speed Rail Program that continues to span across California. PGH Wong supports the effort as a Prime Consultant in a joint venture performing project and construction management services for this major design-build project. This section of the CHSRA route is being constructed with multiple alignment types including at-grade, on embankment, in open trench, on elevated guideways over rivers, and through tunnel segments under a highway.
