Wong is currently serving as the Prime Consultant, in a joint venture, for the Construction Administration of the $1.37 billion Central Phoenix/East Valley (CP/EV) LRT Project. The CP/EV LRT Project is a 20.3-mile Starter Line currently under construction through the cities of Phoenix, Mesa and Tempe in Arizona. Wong is responsible for the construction administration of the 13 separate construction and installation contracts, including:

  • 5 Line Sections
  • Tempe Town Lake Bridge
  • 48th Street Bridge
  • M&SF and Yard Lead Bridge
  • 27 Passenger Station
  • Eight park and ride facilities
  • Signals and Communications
  • Traction Electrification
  • Fare Collection

The Construction Administration team is currently using the WongCMS© system for management and documentation of construction administration activities.

Wong is responsible for the performance of all Construction Administration tasks and the effort of the Construction Administration team. These tasks include all aspects of construction administration, including constructability reviews, quality assurance program, contractor progress monitoring, construction cost estimates, contractor schedule analysis, contractor claims analysis, resident engineering, pre-construction surveys, construction surveys, materials testing services, inspection services, owner furnished materials management, rail system integration and testing services, and rail activation services.
