County Extension Project
For the 17-mile St. Clair County Extension Project, Wong provided final
design and construction management services for the overhead catenary system
and traction power substations. The work involves integration
and coordination of the OCS and traction power substations with
signaling design.
Initial MetroLink Line
Wong was involved in the final design of $464 million Initial MetroLink Line from Lambert-St. Louis International
Airport to 5th & Missouri in East St. Louis. Wong's involvement included traction power, signaling,
and communications systems. The signaling system included grade
crossing protection and cab-signaling systems. Wong was responsible
for the radio coverage analysis to determine adequacy of the radio
coverage. The firm assisted Metro in inspection, testing and startup for
the traction power substations and overhead catenary system. Wong also assisted Metro in
evaluating substation equipment performance during the first two
years of operation. |
