Responsibilities
- Responsible for technical compliance and administration of construction contracts.
- Enforcing contract terms and conditions.
- Documentation of contractual actions.
- Interfaces with the owner, engineers, architects, and other third parties.
- Implementation of cost and schedule control procedures for construction management.
- Management of field staff, including inspectors and office engineers.
- Management of RFIs, submittals, and construction changes.
- Review of contractor payment requests.
- Resolution of construction disputes.
- Development of periodic reports providing information on construction progress, schedule status, cost/budget status, and quality assurance activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 Years experience in Engineering and Construction. 5+ years experience in the construction industry.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Understands development of CPM Schedules from Baseline Schedules to Monthly Updates.
- Able to work in a cooperative team environment
